IJUD STUDIO 2018
You are all invited to the launch of the Interdisciplinary Joint Urban Design Studio (IJUD studio) 2018 edition: THE SHANGHAI CONNECTION
WHEN: Thursday the 1st of March, 5PM
WHERE: Barr Smith South 522a/b, Uni of Adelaide
This year the studio will take place in Shanghai at CAUP Tongji from the 5th to the 14th of April 2018.
The workshop will involve a group of 20 Master’s students from SABE, CAUP Tongji, ENSAS and from the Faculty of Geography of the University of Strasbourg. The students will share their different backgrounds (Australia, France, and China) and diverse expertise (Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Spatial Geography) to work collaboratively on a common urban design proposal.
The objective of the work will be to re-imagine the metropolitan mobility in Shanghai third ring East and Pudong area according to the Scenario Shanghai 2040 Plan.
The Interdisciplinary Joint Urban Design studio (IJUD) studio “SHANGHAI CONNECTION” is a project of the Urban Ecosystem Design Lab, School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) of the University of Adelaide in cooperation with the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University (CAUP), the School of Architecture of Strasbourg (ENSAS) and the Faculty of Geography of the University of Strasbourg (UNISTRA).
