he UEL’s students visited the farm and factory of Jurlique International in Adelaide Hills and Mt Barker. Marc Intervera, Jurlique Farm’s horticulture specialist, illustrated the biodynamic farming philosophy and methods; Chris Luscombe, Jurlique Factory’s 'Green Team' member, showed the cosmetics production processes including the reduction company's environmental impact and the new to cut down on waste, fuel costs and carbon emissions.
The students also had the opportunity to present their proposal do some surveys and measurements of the new factory compound project site.
